WebMay 2, 2016 · The Newby belt drive/clutch is correctly engineered (unlike the BSA rubbish) and finely made. I have two of them on Goldies. We also have a Tony Hayward belt drive on the Gold Star Sonic Weld dirt tracker. Sadly the clutch hub roller bearing that runs 'dry' and is only grease packed and is a very high maintenance item especially on a racer.
