WebOct 25, 2024 · I immediately noticed the red light on the 8 pin closest to the GPU die itself. Shut the PC down. Reseated cable. No go. Switched around 8 pins from. Mid to the left. Still have a red light on the same 8 pin. Pull all 8 pins, reseat all in different places, still same red light lit. Remove card entirely, reseat everything. No go. Test old 2080. WebJun 14, 2024 · Take off the heatsink and inspect the card for damage (missing resistor/capacitor/diode). Clean the graphic cards with isopropyl alcohol and cotton swabs. Especially the GPU area and PCIe pins. Reapply thermal paste on the GPU but don't put too much, remount the heatsink, plug it back in. Last edited: Jun 13, 2024.
