I am unable to do it in the Revit export currently because it gets lumped in the same category as the viewport window, which I want to be on a no plot layer. Also, layer states I don't know if that would work either because again it comes in on the same layer as the viewport window which I don't want to print.

If you instead open/activate that view, go to view properties and select for it to have a view crop region, then you'll have a user-created border around that view that you can drag around (kinda like an xclip).
